Coffee Can Club (top of page)
Several years ago during Sharathon , the Coffee Can Club was born when a listener called to say he was tossing quarters into a coffee can each day to support WBCL Radio.
Every ministry needs that core of donors who keep the cash flow steady so the monthly bills can be paid. At WBCL, this group is called our Coffee Can Club.
This is a terrific level at which to begin supporting WBCL’s ministry. For a contribution of just $20.83 a month -- a total of $250 per year – you can become a member of the Coffee Can Club just as 3,000 families did last year.
As a member of the Coffee Can Club, you help us pay the routine bills – like the whopping $58,000 electric bill and how about $14,000 worth of postage stamps or a $25,000 phone bill.
Part of our strong witness in the community over these past 30 years is the payment of all of our bills – always on time. And you make that possible.

Each day of broadcasting is underwritten, in part, by day sponsors who may underwrite either a full day with 24 mentions ($1200), two shares of a day with 16 mentions ($900) or one share of a day with 8 mentions for ($450). Day sponsorships may be paid on a monthly basis or as a one-time gift. Being a day sponsor is a meaningful way to honor a special occasion, remember a loved one, or express a special message. Current day sponsors receive a mailing in the fall giving them first priority for renewing their day. Day sponsorship also allows you the opportunity to be a part of The MarketPlace listing.

Your business can partner with WBCL. Underwriters choose a daily or weekend program and your name, business name, and address is aired as follows:
“The 7:00 a.m. AP News is underwritten by John Smith of Smith and Smith Car Service at 1020 West Main Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana.”
Even though the announcement cannot sound like a commercial, with a listener base of over 100,000 in the Fort Wayne area, Northwest Ohio and West Central Ohio, you will benefit from name recognition. We offer flexible payment plans and all gifts are tax deductible. Underwriting also gives you the opportunity to be a part of The MarketPlace listing.
